Anna & Grey met on a Boundary Waters canoe trip. Greg proposed there too, so you can easily see why this woodsy lake aesthetic is close to their hearts. Anna’s family cabin is also situated in a little cove on a quiet lake in the heart of Three Lakes, WI. Without a doubt it was the natural choice for their intimate cabin wedding.
The Day of Anna & Greg’s Intimate Cabin Wedding, Three Lakes, WI
Their first look took place in the sun dappled woods where Anna played as a child. Nostalgic memories everywhere from stories of the yellow bench at “the point”, to the fish shack by the shore.
Anna & Greg had more stories to write on their wedding day. Being an active & adventurous couple they asked if we could do photos in a canoe and photograph them jumping in the lake later that evening. Without any reservation I enthusiastically said YES!!! All of these fun and personal ideas tell such a wonderful tale of these two amazing people. As the sun dipped below the horizon, hues of pink appeared. Following all of the formalities, it was time to jump in the lake and light the lanterns. This was a perfect end to a perfect day.
