Eagle Waters Resort Wedding

We loved Megan & Chris’ Summer wedding at Eagle Waters Resort! So elegant with tons of personal touches.

The wedding day

Megan & Chris held their ceremony at Pioneer Lake Lutheran Church https://pioneerlakelc.org/ in Eagle River, before heading back to Eagle Waters https://www.eaglewaters.com/ for their Reception. The day was perfect… Sunny and warm. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect setting.

Eagle Waters Resort has so many charming rustic touches all around the resort, cabins, lodge, bar, and reception space. There’s just something about a historic location like this that brings a sense of warmth and authenticity to a wedding. Megan got ready in one of the rustic cabin surrounded by her 5 bridemaids. All of her bridal details popped off the rustic background… I loved how her dress hung displayed on the rustic screen door of the half log cabin. It was a graceful combination of rustic and glam and I have to say that her cathedral length veil was my favorite accessory because of the way it wrapped around her and floated in the breeze.

Summer color palate & styling

The bridal gown’s low back and delicate lace detailing gave it a lighter feel for summer, while maintaining it’s traditional appeal. Megan chose a lovely shade of blue for the bridesmaids dresses complimented the summer greenery, woods, blue skies and lake views. It is the perfect summer blue. The groom & groomsmen’s blue tuxes completed the look… a lighter feel for a summer wedding. Trigs Floral did a fantastic job bringing “summer” inside with lush greens and elegant soft white florals cascading over tables and through out the reception site. The same type of florals were also highlighted among the wedding party, to help continue the theme. https://trigsfloralandhome.com/.

Eagle Waters Resort wedding reception

Who doesn’t love a great reception!? Especially a reception at a lakeside resort with a historic building to host wedding celebrations! The rugged beauty of the outdoors meets the cozy wood interior, soft glow of candles. It all just encourages you to slow down, relax, and enjoy being together with family & friends. I am always honored to capture a wedding day so couples can re-live their day again and again and I’d highly recommend an Eagle Waters Resort wedding for a great experience and memories you’ll cherish.
