Emma + Jake | Holiday Acres Resort
I’ve been so excited to work with Emma & Jake, ever since I sat down to chat with Emma many months ago. Talking with her about her ideas & plans, I knew this wedding would be a beautiful & intimate event. Emma & Jake’s wedding day started out with threats of pouring rain, but we all were relieved and blessed as the weather moved passed us right in time for outdoor photos & their incredibly personal wedding ceremony. Overlooking Lake Thompson, Emma walked down the isle with a bouquet of spring inspired flowers, in an elegant vintage dress with detailed lace and beading. Family members spoke and read personal letters to the couple, expressing deep & loving sentiment. The ceremony continued with heart felt vows, laughing, smiles, and tears. After their ceremony, guests made their way across the resort to the Three Coins Dining Room & Patio for cocktails & appetizers. We enjoyed a golden sunset following a fantastic dinner; and then guests continued the celebration on the dance floor. – Becky Carpenter for Brown Street Studios
