Holly & Chris | Lakeside Cottage Wedding | Eagle River, Wisconsin
I had such a pleasure working with Holly & Chris and their loving family just two weeks ago today! It was a gorgeous blue sky day… a perfect north woods summer day! I headed down the two track lane to their adorable cottage on Catfish Lake… their intimate ceremony site nestled under a shady birch tree overlooking the lake. Everyone greeted me kindly and I felt like part of the family. What a lovely & welcoming group! Their tearful & heartfelt ceremony began shortly after my arrival. Holly’s daughter came down the isle first, tossing handfuls of pink rose petals along the path. Holly followed, being escorted by her son. Holly glowed as the sun illuminated her dreamy flowing dress. Chris greeted her with a gallant kiss on the hand and tears in his eyes. What a beautiful thing to witness. It was an honor to see such love exhibited. I have to say that Holly & Chris are some of the most photogenic people I’ve ever photographed! SO comfortable with each other and the camera.
